Marta Nowakowska is a veterinarian interested in novel approaches to therapy of neurological disorders. She studied veterinary medicine in Wrocław and in Munich, where she finished her doctorate focused on protein expression in epilepsy. In her current research project, she is investigating the effect of photocapacitive stimulation on biological markers in a model of traumatic brain injury. She likes dogs, video games and learning languages.
